Overview

What it's about

Free up working capital and stop missing customer orders. Visposition turns your ERP data into traceable reorder proposals: demand forecasting, bill-of-materials explosion and an approval workflow, connected directly to your ERP.

The problem: cost from stockouts and overstock

Stockouts hold up customer orders, overstock ties up capital. Both happen when reorder planning is not based on reliable data. The usual symptoms: black-box forecasts nobody trusts, a purchasing team working from its own spreadsheets in parallel, and orders that go out without any sign-off.

The business case

The money at stake is real. For a mid-sized distributor carrying several million euros of stock, even a modest cut in overstock frees six figures of working capital, while every avoided stockout protects a customer order you would otherwise lose.

The approach

Visposition addresses exactly that. It covers the entire disposition process, from demand calculation to handing the proposal back to the ERP, and makes every step traceable.

Who it is for

Mid-sized companies whose core business depends on optimal sales and reordering from suppliers, and who tick one or more of these boxes: several tenants or warehouses, complex bill-of-materials structures and a wish for more control at less effort. The ERP integration is designed as a replaceable module, so different systems can be connected with a lean implementation project.

Why not just your ERP's reorder proposals?

Most ERPs can calculate a reorder point. What they rarely do: show the full working behind every number, explode multi-level bills of materials into consolidated component demand, and route each proposal through a real approval workflow before it becomes an order. Visposition adds exactly that layer on top of the ERP you already run, instead of replacing it. Purchasing stops keeping parallel spreadsheets, because the system finally explains itself.

What it costs

Visposition runs as a yearly subscription on EU cloud infrastructure or as an on-premise licence, with the ERP connector delivered as a fixed-scope package. The exact figure depends on how many tenants and articles you plan and which ERP you connect, so we put concrete numbers on the table after a short scoping call, priced for your case rather than a list-price guess.

How it works

How it works

  1. Transparent calculation

Every proposal exposes its basis — average consumption, safety stock, replenishment time and the strategy applied, together with all intermediate results. Purchasing can trace every recommendation instead of trusting a black box.

  2. Bill-of-materials explosion

Sales articles are exploded into their purchasing components across multiple levels, producing reorder proposals at the component level even when a part is both a sales article and a component.

  3. Consolidated component demand

Demand for each component is aggregated across every bill of materials. Duplicate demand is added up correctly, so each component is ordered once and in the right quantity.

  4. Approval & pricing workflow

From the prioritised release through structured price enquiries to suppliers to the confirmed order back in the ERP. Management keeps control without reviewing every single article.

Features

Under the hood

Established calculation strategies

EOQ, reorder point, Z-score safety stock and linear projection, based on real historical sales data. Configurable per article and tenant, with no proprietary models.

Any tenant constellation

Whether a single company, several sites or a group of affiliated entities: Visposition models any tenant and warehouse constellation.

Flexible roles and permissions

Rights and approval levels can be tailored freely to roles. Everyone sees and owns exactly what belongs to their job.

Direct ERP integration

Stock, orders and master data come straight from the ERP without CSV exports. Proposals are written back and imports run without downtime.

Supplier enquiry and reordering via workflow

Price enquiries to suppliers and the subsequent reorder run through a structured workflow up to the confirmed order in the ERP.

100% auditable and traceable

Every calculation, approval and order is logged end to end. Decisions stay traceable and verifiable at any time.

Runs on-premise or in the cloud

Whether on-premises in your own data centre or on EU cloud infrastructure: operation is 100% GDPR-compliant, depending on your data-residency and operations requirements.

Getting started

Live in weeks, not a multi-year project

Live in weeks, not months

The core runs out of the box. Only the ERP connector is scoped to your system, as a lean, fixed-scope project rather than a multi-year rollout.

Proven on your own numbers first

Before go-live we run the forecast against your real historical sales, so you see the reorder quantities and the savings on your own data, not on a generic demo.

No lock-in

The ERP integration is a replaceable module and you choose on-premise or EU cloud. Your data stays yours, and swapping the connected system later never touches the core.
